Tether CO2 Monitoring

INTRODUCING AIRBORNE INDEX FOR AGED CARE

HOW IT WORKS

CO2 monitoring solution to managing airborne virus transmission risk in aged care facilities. (airborne virus includes COVID, flu, pertussis (whooping cough) and RSV) Viruses can be spread by breathing in air exhaled by another person.

High CO2 levels in the environment means a higher % of the air you breathe is shared with other people which leads to a higher exposure risk. How do we make sure your staff and residents feel safe and secure? By showing them!

Tether are health monitors for buildings. Scan to activate and stick the monitoring device to the wall of your premises

Your device will scan the air in real-time, tracking the CO2 levels in the space. You will be alerted well ahead of time if CO2 is rising, allowing you to increase ventilation and reduce the transmission risk

Last but not least, your clients and staff feel safe and happy knowing and being able to see in real-time they are at a low risk.

BENEFITS

SHOW YOU CARE FOR HEALTH TRACKING

Reduce the anxiety of communal living and welcoming visitors. Tether’s Airborne Index CO2 monitors offer live data, allowing everyone to make educated, safe choices. “Research confirms the value of measuring carbon dioxide to estimate infection risk”

Comply to health standards for heating, insulation, ventilation, moisture ingress and drainage, and draught stopping in a reliable, scalable and cost-effective way.

Low Cost

Using an ubiquitous, low powered and inexpensive network keeps the cost very low. You will need one device for every 60 square meters.

Power - at your fingertips

Keeping CO2 levels down mitigates the risk of seasonal illness. You may not be able to control airborne viruses, but you can go a long way to preventing their spread.

Low Powered WAN

LPWAN technology from SigFox. No wifi is required, so no setup difficulties or reliability issues

Accurate

Tether takes out the subjectivity in Indoor Environmental Quality. Data is recorded and stored to be able to track trends and preempt disruption.

Small, wall mounted

12.5cm x 12.5cm x 4.0cm. Installation is frictionless, DIY or we can get you set up

Mains or Batteries?

6 x AA Batteries with a reading interval of every 10 minutes provides a 1 year battery life-span. Alternatively connect them to mains

FEATURES

DON'T LISTEN TO WHAT IS SAID, MEASURE WHAT IS DONE

Dew point & carbon dioxide measurements

Dew point temperature to alert on conditions ideal for mould and mildew growth. Carbon Dioxide build-up is an excellent indicator of poorly ventilated spaces, and leads to lethargy, headaches and smelly, stuffy feeling air.

Thermal comfort & humidity measurements

Temperature and thermal comfort levels have a direct affect on health and well-being. Absolute and relative humidity predicts dust mite germination, mould & mildew growth, and are a warning against the spread of viral infections.

Ambient noise & ambient lighting levels

Ambient noise is the average level of noise or sound in an area, which impacts concentration, comfort and stress levels. Spaces that are too dim or too bright can impact concentration levels and lead to eye strain and even headaches.

Atmospheric pressure

Tether uses atmospheric pressure to calculate airflow through a space with 2 or more EnviroQ's installed. Atmospheric pressure is also used to calculate absolute humidity which is vital when understanding true humidity and its impact.
