Beacon that is worn around the wrist
Besides the easy location of patients in the hospital, and care facilities may use the signal provided by the BEEKs Resident Duress Wristband to optimize workflows, Duress calls, or automatically create audit trails of presence/time or treatments.
Multi-function device providing:
BEEKs IP64 resident Duress Wristband will, when alarm is activated, send an alert to the Bluzone Cloud (when in range of a connected BluFi). Possible alert reactions:
1) email as part of policy;
2) alert to screen and to alert report
3) API call to activate / present alert on custom dashboard or customers legacy systems.
4) LED on device will blink
When combined with HID Global’s end-to-end IoT Services ecosystem, that includes BluFi™ BLE to WiFi gateways and Bluzone™ cloud services, BEEKs can be centrally managed through the cloud to:
- transfer new messages,
- firmware updates and
- battery status checks remotely.
The duress Wristbands may be used along with BEEKs (Duress-) badges worn by Care personnel or visitors for a more complete RTLS solution.
The extensible architecture allows organizations to scale deployments of standard beacon applications and extend to centralised management, real-time condition monitoring or location services in a later phase.
Data in HID Bluzone™ is anonymized for privacy. A secure web-service API enables the Care organisation's application to consume the geo-coded location data and merge it with the business logic and user interfaces.
